Some of the best learning is hands on, and you can't get much more hands on than this! Ms. Dunlap's Life Skills students were able to head out to Cockrill's Critters last week for a first hand experience with many of the animals and activities.








Wow! What a list! Congratulations to all of our students with As or A/Bs for the First Quarter! Keep it up. Remember: Semester grades are made of 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, and (if applicable) the semester exam.



October is National Principals Month. Today we feature SYLVAN HILLS HIGH's Tracy Allen. He is married with a daughter graduating from the U of A, and a son who graduates from SHHS in the spring. His favorite vacation spot is the British Virgin Islands. #pcssdproud #serveall


October is Polish American Heritage Month. This month we celebrate the history and culture of Polish Americans and the impact they have had on our country and communities. #pcssdproud #serveall


The Bear Service Day for 10.30.23 has been postponed until Nov. 6th, 2023. ALL students should report to class as scheduled and follow a regular Monday schedule for 10.30.23.

Wow! What a week! SHHS hosted an AVID showcase this week. Leaders from other school districts visited our campus to see AVID at work! Our student leaders did an amazing job!











PCSSD Fine Arts teachers are committed to sharing their craft and passing along their knowledge and art to others. SYLVAN HILLS HIGH is proud to offer a variety of fine arts programs, including forensics. Ms. Jennifer Alaquinez and Ms. Allison Sisson do an incredible job working with our students to enhance their speech and debate skills.

Congratulations to all 4 PCSSD high school marching bands for earning a Superior rating at the recent ASBOA Region 1 Marching Assessment! This is the highest rating a band can earn and the first time in many years for all PCSSD schools to receive this. #pcssdproud #serveall
